I haven't made a post in a while, but it's because I've been celebrating Megaman's 20th anniversary. So, in honor of the Blue Bomber, here's my list of the Top Five Megaman games.
5. Megaman 2: The Power Fighters
It's fighting, but with Megaman characters. You had three 'stories' to choose from, then you let loose on the Robot Masters and Wily. And now, it's a bit of useless knowledge. This was the game that actually confirmed fans suspicions that Wily created Zero and was the only time in the Classic series in which he is shown. The only bad thing about this game was the with two people, only one person could get a weapon from a boss.
4. Megaman ZX Advent
I loved Advent and while the soundtrack isn't as good, overall, Advent's a little better. Besides. It's got VOICE ACTING!! I squealed with delight when I saw the opening movie and thought to myself, 'This game's gonna kick ass.' And guess what? It did.
3. Megaman Legends
Not many people liked this game, but I still think that its' one of the best on the Playstation. A new incarnation of Roll was added along with a look into the distant future of the Classic, X, Zero, and ZX series. I didn't fully understand the sequel, but the first one was absolutely brilliant.
2. Megaman X4
This was the second PSX game I ever had and while I had trouble beating it the first time, I quickly found my spot and blew it away. Anime cutscenes, awesome graphics, and kickass bosses make this my choice for the number two Megaman game.
1. Megaman 2
Isn't this a surprise... Many people consider this to be the best Megaman game ever and I'm one of them. I loved the Crash Bomb room boss and the final level, but in all fairness, it's rather hard. The only time I beat the game was where I killed the boss a split second before it killed me. It was no doubt a glitch of sorts, but it still registered that I beat the game. I've gotta try that again someday.
And, for those of you Megaman fans who read this or simply like Megaman, check out the achievements on Rockman Perfect Memories. I've yet to find a better way to show the world how much you love Megaman.
